Hey Guys!
Just wanted to start a thread for people who applied to UCLA's new grad nurse residency program! Lets keep each other updated!

It's definitely been a long wait, but well worth it!! She told me that I will be contacted by HR shortly within the next couple days to receive my official offer, so hopefully those of you who still haven't heard back will hear back soon!! I'm so excited to meet my fellow new grads once we officially start!! Can't wait!!!??
Same! I really thought I wasn't going to be contacted at all and was surprised to get the call today. I'm super relieved the wait is over, and I hope everyone will get to hear back if they haven't already! While I was on the phone with the unit director, I did ask when the start date is, and she let me know April 22nd in case anyone else was curious. Newgrad5446, I guess I'll see you soon!

AKA can I attach cover letter/resumes specific to the unit, or just one set for my top 2 units? THANK YOU!
Hello aspiringnurse! It's one app and you can preference 2 units on the application. I submitted a cover letter applicable to both units and upon interview I brought in a cover letter specific to the unit I was interviewing for.
Hi, I'm a recent BSN grad and internal applicant from UCLA for the September/Summer cohort. Does anyone remember if their status changed after "routed to interviewing supervisor?" Also, can anyone tell me what the application date, interview date, and potential start date was? It seems that they are taking a little more time to notify this cohort about their status/ possible interviews. THANKS!

Hello. My status stayed “routed to interviewing supervisor” until I received an offer. It wasn’t until I accepted the offer that the status changed to “offer extended/accepted.” I applied September, heard back for an interview mid Nov, had my interview end of Nov, got an offer Dec 18. But it varies, I know some people who got offers really late (end of Jan/Feb). I would say it depends on the units you applied to ?
I know some people heard back for interviews already, have you?

Haven't heard back yet, but apparently most of us have yet to hear back, so I'm keeping my hopes up! ?
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if you guys have any advice or just anything you thought gave you a better chance at landing an interview? I keep hearing that it is very difficult to land an interview for UCLA, even for internal applicants, but I'm seeing a lot of you guys receiving an offer to be interviewed and so I'm wondering what you guys have done differently than others.
