  1. Hello! Thank you for replying! I wish I could've told my friend that. She had quit without trying to apply (after 7 years of working there) because she felt that she didn't have a chance to even get interviewed. Do you happen to know what the CVICU or surgical ICU directors are looking for?
  2. Hello everyone! I was wondering if you guys have any advice or just anything you thought gave you a better chance at landing an interview? I keep hearing that it is very difficult to land an interview for UCLA, even for internal applicants, but I'm seeing a lot of you guys receiving an offer to be interviewed and so I'm wondering what you guys have done differently than others.
  3. Thank you so much for replying! I have one last question if you don't mind answering-- Do you feel prepared with the training to provide?
  4. Hello Nurse9393, I am a new graduate trying to apply for UCLA for their residency. I read that you have been offered by UCLA and I was wondering if you mind giving me advice on how to land an interview and do great in it? I wanted to give their applications for October of this year a try and do my best in preparing for it. Please and thank you!

  9. Hi í ½í±‹í ¼í¿¼ The step up program are for adn students so that they can get a head start for the RN to BSN(or ADN to BSN) program. Although it doesnt guarantee a spot in the RN to BSN program, the administer coordinator of the nursing program in CSULB told me that as long as we do well in our adn programs and also the step up program then step up students will have priority entry.
  10. step up. no way is that gpa getting in the regular csulb nrsg program.
  11. yes you should definitely apply even with less than a 3.5 gpa. I got in with a 3.4 gpa.
  12. No I hope someone in the program sees this and help us out. í ¾í´ží ¼í¿¼í ¾í´ží ¼í¿¼
  13. Cool! I'll see you in the program!
  14. I received an email from CSULB on April 27th. Did you get in?
