Just wanted to start a thread for people who applied to UCLA's new grad nurse residency program! Lets keep each other updated!

They’ve hired a few people already, some had their uniform fitting but from what people have said 8ICU isn’t done choosing and Thursday is the last day. Rejections go out after all offers have been made, typically 2-3 weeks after the last offer.

Does anyone know if your application status changes before you receive an offer?

It won’t because when you receive the offer you have the option to accept / decline. When and if you accept your offer will change to “offer extended/accepted”.

Thanks. I’m stuck waiting then like a lot of us. My status still says “routed to interviewing supervisor” and I interviewed with 8ICU the first week of December.

It seems like a lot of 8ICU applicants are waiting to hear back, I wonder what’s going on. Did they happen to mention how many they’d plan to hire?

They said about 8 new grads but it depends also on interviews etc. And I called HR maybe a week and a half ago and the lady said that 8ICU is the last unit they are waiting on to submit their choices.

Has anyone heard from the peds units? We’re suppose to get all the offers today

I spoke to Amanda from HR today and she said that 8ICU has still not decided...

Hi everyone. I was recently offered a position in 8ICU almost a month ago, received a call from HR followed by the email. I tried on uniforms already where there was another 8ICU new grad. I believe they are still in the process of selecting another 2-3 (if they haven't already). Can't wait to meet everyone. ?

I know 8ICU & OR have. According to HR, all offers have been given with the exception of 8ICU who is in between applicants..

Someone on Facebook said that when she received her rejection last it was a whole month or two after offers were made.
