Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!
When I interviewed (also 2 weeks ago) I was told that the program begins either late July or August. At the time, HR was still going to interview "for a few weeks". Then they were to meet with the Nurse Managers, see who needed how many RNs, and who was okayed to hire New Grads . Then HR was going to take that info, review the interviews, and make decisions on who to recommend to which units. Hopefully that unspecified time is near, and hopefully they need us all! P.S. I know of someone who interviewed last Thursday for CVICU. They also said their interview went very well.
For everyone out there who figured that UCLA forgot about them - I am from out of state and JUST received a call to have another phone interview with the senior recruiter. I thought for sure I did not move on because I started this process three months ago! So hang in there and good luck to everyone!!
UCLA has scheduled out-of-state phone interviews through at least May 12th. I hope they start phoning for department interviews before then; I'm getting antsy carrying my phone around everywhere and jumping at every ring, lol!
I know that's wishful thinking, but a girl can dream, right? :)
Just got a call today to set up my phone interview with the senior nurse recruiter. I have some questions: Do I just send in the names and phone numbers of my references or do they actually want letters of recommendations? Do I send it to the nurse recruiter? How many is good? 3?
Thanks so much! Appreciate your help
They already checked references when they did the Talent+ interview. We had to submit the contact information for 3 references who then filled out an online questionnaire and short answer form. Also, we had to submit two letters of reference with our original online application.Do I just send in the names and phone numbers of my references or do they actually want letters of recommendations?
