UCLA New Grad Program 2010

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hello Prospective UCLA New Grad RNs!

I just called the HR department because it's been a month since I've interviewed with the senior nurse recruiter, and I just wanted to let you all know that they have not started unit interviews yet. They are still "in the midst" of interviewing candidates, and the woman on the phone reassured me that it might still be a few weeks before they start giving names to the units. While it is frustrating that we've been waiting this long, at least it's nice to know that those who have interviewed with the senior nurse recruiter are at the "highest step" at the UCLA New Grad process.

Thanks, Jen for the update. Waiting is sooo difficult. The only thing that could make this anxiousness worthwhile is for us to hear some good new, and soon! Great good luck to us all.

Everyone I know who lives out of state has finished their phone interviews (and if they conducted them in alphabetical order by last name, they're at the end of the alphabet)...

I know the recruitment office said it will be another week or two before we get calls/e-mails, but I want to know now! lol *sits patiently...kind of* :)

Good friend had a phone interview yesterday afternoon. Current time line is, "interviews are still being conducted for a couple more weeks."

Haven't I heard that somewhere before? haha Hang in there, kiddos! We're getting there!

Hey everyone! I'm sure you are all going crazy waiting! I have my phone interview with the senior nurse recruiter this afternoon. I am positive that it's near the end of the interviews. I'm from out of state and my name is at the bottom of the alphabet, if that even matters.

A friend got a call last week from a member of the UCLA HR staff asking if she was still interested in the residency program. Of course, she said yes, and they said she would be receiving a call this week to schedule a unit manager interview. The 'next step' is here!

Do you know what unit your friend applied to? I wonder if they're calling people by unit now. So nervous!

Her #1 is definitely OR, then I think her #2 is ER.

Edit: She just got a call from HR for the next interview. First week of June :)
