UCLA New Grad one year program 2011

I am graduating this December 2010 as an ADN. I want to make sure I apply for UCLA's new grad program the day the application opens. Is there anyone else with this plan? Does anyone have the link to where this application will appear? I have looked at many informational screens but have not found a link to an application. I figured it might be on the UCLA Job Search site, so I opened a profile there. I do not live in CA, I am out of state. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I called them today actually because I couldn't find specific info on their website. They guided me to it: UCLA Events Calendar

Thank you very much.

I applied to it October 25th, the day the applications opened. So far i have not received any info, my application status just says Application accepted, assessment completed and all documents required submitted. I'm hoping that i hear something soon because I've been hearing people have already been contacted.

I applied on the 26th, and my status doesn't say anything about contacting me, either. There was an X next to "Active", but now there's not an X anymore... makes me think I wasn't chosen. I actually thought I had a pretty good chance! :o

Good luck, everybody! :nurse:

Studystudy, i just checked my page after your post and they also took of the X under active, I guess that means I'm out as well. It's probably the ADN program because I had a 3.9 GPA at school, ACLS certified, and 7 years LVN experience, don't know why I keep getting shut down from the new grad programs.

The X was a link for you to click if you wanted to withdraw your application, which you could only do up until HR received and processed your application/documents/survey (which from my experience was only a few days). Don't be too quick to assume you've been rejected :)

Mine still says, "We have contacted you for an interview", but I have not been contacted. So strange...

My status was "contacted for an interview." But then I received an email stating that I needed to complete the online assessment (i got an error message right before I submitted my app and it skipped the assessment I think). Now it's back to "Application received, assessment completed." =T I hope this doesn't mean that I missed the interview process.

Has anyone heard anything?

PS Good luck to everyone! :heartbeat I applied to CCU, CT-ICU and step-down.

This is the email conversation I had with SkillSurvey Customer Service. All we can do is stay prepared and wait:

At this time you have not been entered into our system. When you have been by UCLA you will automatically be sent e-mails by us regarding your Reference Checking process.

Subject: Difficulty with SkillSurvey/TalentPlus Process

Hi,

I was sent an email on Fri, Oct 29, 2010 at 10:45 AM about completing the

process regarding SkillSurvey/TalentPlus. I have been waiting for emails.

However, I logged into the UCLA website as an applicant, and beside my

application under "Status" it says "We have contacted you for an interview".

Seeing this gives me great concern, for I am yet to receive an email about

it. Anything you can advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

I received an email saying that TalentPlus will be contacting me for a pre-interview and I will receive an email asking me to list my references and their emails for a reference check. That was last week and I haven't been contacted for either of these. I think they haven't started the process for this step yet. From reading through the Spring term groups postings this is a long process. So I don't think there is anything to freak out about. Hopefully we will be contacted this week or next to get this part of it done so we can move on (hopefully) to the telephone interviews!

I called the recruiter and asked about it, she said don't worry about the fact that it says "We've contacted you for an interview". She said it would happen, "within the next few weeks".
