UCLA New Grad one year program 2011

I am graduating this December 2010 as an ADN. I want to make sure I apply for UCLA's new grad program the day the application opens. Is there anyone else with this plan? Does anyone have the link to where this application will appear? I have looked at many informational screens but have not found a link to an application. I figured it might be on the UCLA job search site, so I opened a profile there. I do not live in CA, I am out of state. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I got the same waitlist email today too... is this a good thing, like being an alternate (LOL) or just a standard we-didn't-chose-you email?

I think that the problem is that too many people applied on the first day. I applied as soon as it opened and from what I can see in this forum it looks like the people that applied after that night was put on the waitlist. That's what happened to me last time I tried to apply for Spring 2010.

From the last time that I applied I'm afraid so. I'm afraid to burst your bubble. I applied on February 25 this which I think was like 2 days before the application was supposed to close. I didn't get a call or email at all. So this time I made sure that I got in on the first 3 hour window. I think that the all of us New grads flood the system the first few hours. There could be hope but this is from my experience I don't what others have experienced.

Me too... I'm hoping I really get into the program. I've been waiting for almost 2 years now. This is so depressing.

Wow. you've been waiting 2 years to get into tihs program or for a job in general? That's so long! Good luck to you! I've only been waiting 6months and I can't stand it..

for those of you that haven't gotten a response, don't go by what it says on your status. after reading the posts from the 2010 new grad forum, its too early to worry.
