UCLA MECN 2021

Hi everyone!

I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

Yesterday morning I asked my bf if it was the 11th, he said “no, it’s the 10th”. Then at night I asked if it was 11th yet, and he said “you just asked that this morning” LOL funny but sad at the same time. It feels like it takes 2 days for each day to pass, if you guys feel this too...

The days are getting longer and longer and at this point I’m more frustrated LOL I know chances are small but I’m stilling hanging on to hope.
 

Does anyone know when clssses would begin this fall if we get in?

I woke up today to an interview invitation to Western U! I’m soooooo nervous and I wish UCLA would let us know already haha. I’m scared that a rejection from UCLA is going to get to me and then impact my confidence in interviewing to other programs ?

Congrats on that interview!! I’m sure you’ll do great! Also, I believe classes at UCLA would start late Sept/early Oct.

I got my interview request from WesternU today, so yes I concurr I feel UCLA is not far behind!

Fall quarter begins Sept 20th.

With Monday being a holiday, if we receive no news today it will be a long weekend indeed. 

Good luck to those with interviews at other schools. I've finished all mine and I must say it was a mixed bag of approaches.

To my knowledge, I believe today could also be a short day for them as well.

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to let everyone know I got an email today from UCLA just 15 mins ago that I am #12 on the alternate list! I am praying there is still some way I will get admitted to this program! Good luck everyone!
