UCLA MECN 2021

Hi everyone!

I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

@Dee23, by alternate list do you mean waiting list or something else?

If it is the waiting list Dee23, congratulations!  From looking at past years, it seemed as if at least that many people got in off the waiting list, so I'd think your chances are good!

Did you see any change on the application status portal on the website or just got an email?

Is it really happening? Notifications today?

I got an email at 10:25AM, I'm #21 on the waitlist. I'll be crushed if I don't get in!

I believe it means if 12 people from the admitted list do not accept then I will be admitted. AHH this was the only school I applied to so far and my first time applying so nerve wrecking!
