Hello all, I'm preparing to apply to UCLA's Master's Entry Clinical Nurse (MECN) program, and so have decided to start a thread for others that planning to also apply and/or interested.

Taking into consideration that admissions begin September 1, 2017 and end on November 1, 2017, this conversation will hopefully progress from now (the lead up) through the time of notification for acceptance/denial/waitlist (between February and April 2018).

In the meantime, is anyone planning to attend any of the upcoming information sessions?

I also received the same email. When I emailed Rhonda to inquire about my status, I receive an automated message that they are overwhelmed with emails and if we still have questions regarding our status, to email back in May.......

Hi all. First time posting here. My status has been updated and it's quite a relief to be honest to finally get some closure. Please recheck your statuses!

yes - agreed! UC Davis here I come. Good luck everyone!

I just received my rejection letter. Womp. USD it is hahah

@rbccwu

Eyy me tooo!! Woot woot! USDí ½í±Œ

Same! USD for me as well. Are you guys on the Facebook group for USD? Make sure to add yourselves. "USD MEPN Class of 2020"

Yep, I received a rejection as well. No back up for me.

Just checked mine too. Typical generic, cookie cutter response. Glad there's closure though. Good luck to everyone and congrats to everyone who got in!

Thanks for letting us know! I also got rejected :( still waiting on other schools...

Got my rejection letter too. Now just waiting on CSULA *fingers crossed*. Those of you who have applied before, did you write them to receive feedback on improving your application for next year?

I applied last year and did not get in, I didnt ask for feedback because i had a pretty good idea why I didnt get accepted. I had no previous job experiences other than being a nanny and had no volunteer experience in anything health related. Took the time in between to fix that, my grades didnt change at all because I had finished my prereqs already and I got in this round.

Any one from the alternate list who has been offered admission of late?
