UMD CNL FALL 2018
Hi everyone, I was given a deadline to accept or decline by tomorrow, 04/20/18. I think the deadlines to accept/decline varied because in my letter, they gave me 14 calendar days to give them a decision. I wanted to let you know that I declined my spot, and that a spot has been opened up. I really liked the CNL program, but after much thinking and consideration of pros and cons, I decided to go elsewhere. I wanted to wish good luck to all of you. To those accepted and going to the CNL program, congrats! To those on the wait list, don't lose hope! I was on a couple wait lists too. To those denied, do not give up! Things happen for a reason. You will a find school that is meant for you!

Duke University ABSN Fall 2018
Does anyone have any idea/previous knowledge of when they give financial aid packages out? I know they said to expect something 30 days from getting accepted. I'm just trying to have some kind of plan to consider all my options.

UMD CNL FALL 2018
Hey guys I am new to allnurses, and I wanted to give an update. My application was completed feb 28th, and I received an invite to interview in early April 2 days ago. I've been accepted to a couple of programs, but this CNL program is on one my top choices because it is at the master's level and because federal financial aid at the master's level is good. For those accepted, congrats! Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated!

MUSC ABSN Fall 2018
Hi guys, I just wanted to give my update. I was accepted to the Fall 2018 ABSN cohort via email on March 8. I'm out of state from NC. I'm waiting to hear on several other schools (all over the states), but MUSC is definitely in my top 3 choices.

UCLA MECN 2018
Just checked mine too. Typical generic, cookie cutter response. Glad there's closure though. Good luck to everyone and congrats to everyone who got in!

What was your status changed to by the way?

USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2018
thank you

Duke University ABSN Fall 2018
I doubt it. In HEA website, there only 10 students in the pictures. So let's say it's 10 out of 75 for HEA. That leaves ~65 spots for the rest of us? But then there are the other 40 who had interviews. Regardless, I can't wait to hear from admissions!

UCLA MECN 2018
I assume your status changed as well? Sorry I am not trying to add insult to injury. We just have to improve some, and I'm sure we will get in to a different program if not here. What's comforting is that I've seen people apply and reapply 2, 3 times and they all get in somewhere. I, too, would like to know stats from people who got accepted to improve just to get an idea what MECN looks for in a student.

USF MSN CNL non nurse Fall 2018
Hi, I'm also applying for the Fall 2018 cohort! I spoke with USF about the April 15th deadline, and asked if there was any benefit in submitting the application early. They said I could submit early, but if I felt my application would be more competitive closer to the deadline (I'm working as a CNA so I think she meant get more experience), then I could submit it until April 15th. They also said there would be no penalty or disadvantage for submitting later because they won't start reviewing applications until the deadline passes.

UCLA MECN 2018
I just checked my status on the graduate page and I got the dreaded, "You should soon be receiving a response directly from your major program regarding a decision on your application." I'm sure this changed over night because I checked yesterday evening, and that message was not there. Good luck to everyone else!

USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2018
Hi guys, I am applying to USF's CNL for non nurses program in Orange country for Fall 2018. I tried looking for a thread around here but couldn't find anything. I find it odd that there is no thread, considering the deadline is April 15.

UCLA MECN 2018
Hi, for last year's application, did your status ever change to "you should hear from your school soon.."? Or did your status remain "no decision made..." when you got your rejection letter by mail? Congrats on getting in! That shows perseverance and I'm sure you'll do well at UCLA!
