  1. Just got a call at around 12pm that I was accepted!!
  2. Anyone else think it's kind of weird that people have been accepted and yet as far as I know no one has received something saying that they're on the waitlist? Looking at previous forums it seems like people on the waitlist knew pretty soon after acceptances went out... however, I could be wrong. This makes me feel like they are doing something different this round...
  3. @losiu Hopefully we hear something soon... it seems a bit odd but I am still hoping for the best for all of us :)
  4. Has anyone heard anything since Monday from USF?
  5. I haven't heard anything today either... this wait is nerve-racking especially since people have already been accepted...
  6. I just talked to someone in the admissions office and they said "applications are still under review for the next few weeks"... I am not sure if they are just saying that or the person I talked to didn't have any information...
  7. I'm hoping they aren't done with acceptances yet... it seems like only 4 people on here have been accepted today (who knows how many that didn't post on here)... hopefully we will all hear more tomorrow...
  8. Congrats! Did you receive a phone call yet?
  9. Ugh I wish they weren't so vague about everything...I, just like I assume everyone else, am so ready to hear the decisions. Do you think they are doing rejections in rounds as well?
  10. @kaydeeee Did they give any reason why they are doing the acceptances in rounds?
  11. YellowMaskrosbarn, do you mind sharing your stats? I would be interested in knowing the competitiveness of that program if they outright rejected you. It seems like a lot of these entry level nursing programs are very difficult to get into.
  12. I haven't applied anywhere else. I had a undergrad GPA of 3.9 but still have one pre-req in progress. However, I do know that USF likes to take a more holistic approach so I know the letters of rec and personal statement will be huge factors as well as the resume. I am unsure of how they exactly go about selecting individuals for acceptance because of this holistic approach.
  13. @lmp23 I am so nervous too, now the 8-10 week wait begins...
  14. @MandaNursePanda did you apply to SFSU for the spring? If so, how competitive was it? I am thinking of applying to SFSU for Spring 2019 if USF doesn't pan out for summer 2018. I applied to USF for summer 2018 just to see if I have a chance (and because it is a great program), I am taking Micro this semester so this was one of the only programs that I want to apply to that allows you to have a course in progress.
  15. Hi @samanthajoyce! I was/am surprised as well, I wonder if fewer people applied this round...
