UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

My status online has not changed. However, my email said they have completed the review process. I suppose that does not mean that they have sent out all acceptances yet but the decisions are made. Hope this helps.

I'm sorta wondering if they are holding off on rejections because they aren't 100% sure how long to make the wait list. Since they are SO FREAKING LATE this year, I imagine a lot more of their top picks will go elsewhere. That would be horrible though. I'd rather just get an outright rejection though so I can start making other plans. APU has rolling start dates so that's what I was going to look into next. I didn't have a lot of pre-reqs done before so i hadn't applied anywhere else but I'll be done with everything in June. What about other people? Have you looked at other programs as next steps?

I like how they did it last year. Rejections knew right away - pulled the band aid off - no speculating. Then everyone else knew they were either accepted or wait listed and just had to wait for the letter in the mail.

I emailed accepting the waitlist spot and ---------------- said she is still letting people know if they were accepted or waitlisted. She said they may not get done letting people know until the end of this week/beganing of next. Also I have noticed a gap between the MSN the first to know were sunday and I seen some accepted yesterday...... keep the faith until you get a def denied.

I haven't heard anything but am refreshing my inbox every 2 seconds! Also - I want to believe that there are still acceptances to be sent out but I'm quickly losing hope. The mecn 2014 facebook group already has 89 people in it. You wouldn't join that if you weren't accepted, right???

Yeah, that's for this year's graduating class. I saw that someone had posted that they created one for this year's entering class but I can't find it on Facebook to see how many people are in it.
