UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

Just reread the email and it says I am number 8, was so excited to recieve any news I skipped over that part lol......... I am still praying and hopeful for the rest of you guys.

Hill3032 how come you didn't get a number but amaiasmom did?? Are you on a separate list?

I received an email from ---------------- in December/January but til then no word. I have a feeling I'm in the rejection pile or whatever pile that has a big fat DENIED stamp on it.

I'm not sure about the batches being separated by last names. My work study student who got in has "L". Same as mine but I have not heard back yet.

I praying it's not the end. It doesn't seem like there were that many acceptances out thể!!!!!

there is no way all the acceptances have been sent out. 102 people are reading this board. there would be SO much more activity. deep breaths, deep breaths.

Only 29 are able to post. I think all of the acceptances have been sent out... maybe not the wait list yet.

Just notice that the numbers are increasing for the waitlisters.....the first person to post said their spot is #8, then the next said #13. There should be 70 wait listed folks. Only thing I see that is not so positive is that they have ranked the wait listed people. You cannot rank them and then have ------------ send out his too. I think this is the step 2 and step 3 will be the rejections. This was a banner year in applications - 600 people (I think I heard that many in a prior post). We cannot take it too personally. Every program has their own ideas of the students they want.
