Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

Here's to my first post (or I guess 2nd... being that this is what allnurses is saying hah)... I have never refreshed my email as much as I have in these past 3 days... I really am hoping the best right now.. and I really hope ------------- is saying the truth when she still is letting people know if they are accepted/waitlisted. Thank you to everyone posting. Good luck to us all.. P.S. what's that facebook group URL?

I emailed accepting the waitlist spot and ------------ said she is still letting people know if they were accepted or waitlisted. She said they may not get done letting people know until the end of this week/beganing of next. Also I have noticed a gap between the MSN the first to know were sunday and I seen some accepted yesterday...... keep the faith until you get a def denied.

At this point I am being more pessimist about the whole situation. I think it is just my own way to keep expectations low in case of getting denied. I am talking about my very particular situation. However, reading your positive comments helps a lot. Thank you guys

I think all the acceptances went out at the beginning of the week and now mid week it's waitlisters and by friday rejections. That's just my theory, to me it doesn't make sense that -------- would have a separate pile of acceptances and then continue with waitlisters there. I think --------- has given his acceptances and ------------ agrees or disagrees and sends out the emails accordingly. Still no clue on why rejections wouldn't go out first either.

That makes sense to me... but why would she tell someone that she is still working on notifying people if they were accepted or wait listed? Let's be honest... nothing about their process has made sense thus far.
