UCI MEPN Fall 2020

Hi Everyone,

Didn't see a forum for UCI's MEPN Fall 2020 application cycle so I thought I would start one! I'll introduce myself:

Recent grad from undergrad. Relatively low GPA but large amount of clinical experience as a research assistant at a large hospital. Hoping it will help me. Good luck to everyone applying!

I just got an acceptance letter! I'm really confused bc I thought I did really badly in my interview.

The letter says April 15

I'm guessing they're not doing a second wave of interviews this year ?.. Congrats to those who got accepted!

Did u guys not receive the email till 5 pm? Seems late Is there a portal too we can check

Hi there! Is there a separate portal from the application portal where we receive updates regarding our application status?

I got an email around 5 PM last night. Everything seems to be through email, as I had no updates in my portal. I think for the UC system, any graduate application is done through their centralized portal, and departmental communication about interviews/decisions are done through your email directly

I also received an acceptance letter the other day! Are you guys responding to the email directly accepting your spot or waiting for the official statement to enroll letter?

I also received an acceptance letter. I think I will wait for the SIR email. ?

Me too. This is steadily becoming my number 1/2 choice. I asked the woman who emailed us to connect me with other students to talk about their experience as well. If I go, I'll likely be commuting from Hollywood
