UCI MEPN Fall 2020

Hi Everyone,

Didn't see a forum for UCI's MEPN Fall 2020 application cycle so I thought I would start one! I'll introduce myself:

Recent grad from undergrad. Relatively low GPA but large amount of clinical experience as a research assistant at a large hospital. Hoping it will help me. Good luck to everyone applying!

I will probably receive a rejection too. I didn’t even interview... But I just got accepted to Johns Hopkins! How does this all even work * facepalm *

I emailed the school and a few minutes later, I got that reply. It seems like an auto-reply to me.

I received the same message a while ago. But aren't we in the early Spring?

Hi! For everyone checking their applications status, do you guys check in the portal where we submitted our applications? In UCI Graduate Divisions?
Or is there a different portal? Thank you!

Also, does anyone know if we are supposed to have access to the UCI portal with our UCInetID's? I am not able to log on, I hope this isn't where we were supposed to be checking. Thanks!

Hello! I am applying to UCI fall 2020 cohort. My science GPA is a 3.6 as well as my overall GPA. I volunteered in the orthopedics and neurotrauma section At sharp memorial hospital, Taught English in an undeserved population, worked at a behavioral health hospital and worked at a rehabilitation center.

what is everyone else‘s stats?

The only thing I could log into was the UCI housing portal. I spoke to IT, and they said our emails won't be activated until closer to the beginning of the Summer term

Hi kvt1013 for your reply! I actually haven't received an admissions decision so I am not sure if that applies to me. Have you heard anything back?
