UCF SUMMER 2015 Accelerated Nursing Program

Hey guys!

I just applied for the summer 2015 accelerated nursing program at UCF.

I wanted to create this thread so people can see the application pool stats and just have somewhere to talk and vent during the "waiting game."

As for me...I'm a little on the low side sadly...

TEAS- 87.3%

Overall GPA: 3.467

Pre-req GPA: 3.65

Well I'm pretty sure last year they accepted 67 for the accelerated, but it might've changed so I'm not sure!

I did the same thing with my first degree. Not really knowing what my passion was so it was hard to truly focus. I have somewhat similar stats. Everything happens for a reason I'm trying to remind myself haha.

That was me to a tee. I'm trying not to over analyze/compare stats on here and trying not to be too hard on myself. It's hard not to when I don't know for sure where I stand until I get that email. I do know, however, that I am a hard worker. If I continue to work hard, something will eventually work out. :)

Exactly! I come on here and get discouraged bc so many others have better stats than I do but it will work out the way it's supposed to :)

UGH I feel the same way...my stats aren't as high as I want. But UF puts so much pressure and strain on the first and second year weed out classes that I almost feel like it's impossible to truly succeed.

I was hoping we would find out today, but I'm guessing it will be on the 20th then :( My birthday is March 22nd, so it's either going to be an early present or a reason to keep drinking lol

You never know! It might be on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.

Nice to meet you! :) Yeah, I think they sent that email to all who were eligible and being considered.

I guess they didn't want to tell us on Fri the 13th, haha.

Lol I thought the same thing about the 13th! I called yesterday to change my email on file and she mentioned that they were hoping for the 17th so hopefully we don't have to wait until the 20th!!

Me too! I had applied to Daytona states ASN program for January and they told us we would know right before thanksgiving and we knew by the end of October. I think it just depends on the school and how many people apply
