In a weak moment, I called the Orlando College of Nursing. The lady on the phone sounded slightly annoyed that I was asking, and she said "I don't have a definite answer, last I knew they were trying to get them out next week with the deadline." I wish I didn't call!! I hope they realize they have lots of folks waiting on pins and needles for an answer. COME ON ALREADY!!!!

Cocoa. I'm a bit confused by the fact that it says we'll be the class of 2013 - shouldn't we finish in the summer of 2012?

Yea I don't know I actually just read over it again and mine says class of 2013 too. I thought it was six semesters right? Like we'd end summer 2012. Maybe it's just a typo. What I'm confused about is we have to print out the email and sign it and return it to the college of nursing by the 10th? Is there an attached file or something? I'm reading it from my phone so, I was just wondering.

Well I finally got an email... Only it was a denial! :eek: I was like what?! I thought for sure I would get in. So I called to find out the cut off GPA because everything else is perfect. Pre-reqs are all complete with a 4.0! I had to email an advisor who said it "might" be a mistake he would look into it tomorrow. I don't know what I am missing??? I am hoping it was a screw up, but if it wasn't this was a very very tough term to get in GPA wise. Congrats to those who did get in!!! Keep on plugging to those who didn't...

So we're supposed to bring the email to the college of nursing in Orlando? or Cocoa? They should have given better directions!

Yea I'm confused too, I'm not sure where to bring it. I wonder if we are going to get like a letter in the mail like a sort of information packet. I would think that we would, but idk. I might just call over to Orlando, or Daytona and see where exactly we are supposed to bring the email. Did anyone else have the "outstanding requirement" for the FDLE background check? I don't remember it saying anything about it in the application. I figured that we would pay the 25 dollars for it after we were accepted. Am I the only one with this in my email?

Congratulations to everyone that got in! I know we are all very happy and excited, I know I am! :yeah: And for those of you that didn't get in don't let it stop you, there are other schools and semesters, you never know what the future holds.

:)I got in too!!!! I hope UCF sends us more information about the program because I feel lost. See everyone who got accepted into Cocoa in January! :)
