UCF Cocoa

Is anyone applying for UCF at the Cocoa/Daytona campus for Spring semester 2011? I've been working at this for soooo long and I was hoping to find other people out there too for moral support!

ahahn--thanks for the well wishes! Do you have any tips you could share? Things you wish you knew before you started?? Good luck to you also! You are just a couple of short semesters away from being done! BTW... reading all these posts has me kind of worried about the local job market...since you are out in the hospitals, how is the local job market for new grads?

One thing everyone should prepare for is chaos!! The first semester is very hectic and try super hard to build organization. Being organized the first semester with a planner and all will be very helpful and will decrease the stress. Also prepare to spend a lot more money. As you go through the process more and more costs and fees pop up which us students would have appreciated knowing prior. To all of the females, the women's scrub pants are awful an the men's are more comfortable fitting according to my classmates. I had bought all of my scrubs before I knew this and wish I had known prior! From what I hear at the hospitals we've been in, they always hire every year and the majority of their hires are newly graduated ucf students which is good news. Thank you for the wishes and good luck with everything!

Sweet! that's nice to know! I just bought my uniforms and I got womens pants and they are really comfortable to me. I didn't try on mens pants though so maybe they are more comfortable
