UCF BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hi guys,

I hope I'm not the only one already obsessing over my application for the Fall 2017 semester! I have finals this week and then I'm finally finished with the nursing pre-reqs and I'll have my AA after just two courses in the spring. The application window for the traditional BSN program at UCF is in February and I'm so ready! I thought we could all come together here like I've seen others do in the past to share our stats and words of advice/encouragement.

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.71

Science Pre-req: 3.67

Non-Science Pre-req: 4.0

TEAS: 86.7

I feel like my stats aren't particularly competitive for the traditional program so I'll also be applying to Valencia-UCF's concurrent program next May.

Anyone else a little too excited the the next few months to fly by? What are your stats? Are you currently a UCF student or transfer? Are you applying to any other programs?

Another day of waking up to an empty inbox *sigh*. Im 100% convinced we will see an email next week. I wish they were like other schools where there's a deadline and then they tell you by this date you'll hear back from us.

Hey! It's only 11 am. It could happen later today. Tomorrow even. I mean, if we're following the trend of the results being released a bit earlier, hopefully we can anticipate seeing emails soon. But yes, I too am sitting here with a furrowed brow while twiddling my thumbs in apprehension for my email notification.

Better to take your mind off of it by doing something else.

Well I need to give FSU a decision by April 7th so I am definitely hoping they send out the acceptance/denial emails by then

Jeez, I really thought we would know by today. :dead: This anxiety is awful.

I feel like with the pattern of students finding out early on a tuesday that we'll find out by the 28th next week.

They did say 6-8 weeks from the deadline and next week is the 6 week mark. So hopefully Tuesday is the day!

  • ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but where these results be

I checked my Knight's email and had my heart drop when I saw a new email. It was promo for UCF's basketball team..

Same!!! But then I was like wait it's Saturday lol.

Just got accepted!!!

For anyone looking at this thread in the future, I had a 3.73 overall GPA, Prereq GPA around 3.8, a TEAS score of 92.7 and I'm coming from Florida State Univeristy.

Wait listed, oh well. Congrats Jfsut!

Did they give you a specific number? I'm sure numbers on the lower end will get admitted later on
