UCF BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hi guys,

I hope I'm not the only one already obsessing over my application for the Fall 2017 semester! I have finals this week and then I'm finally finished with the nursing pre-reqs and I'll have my AA after just two courses in the spring. The application window for the traditional BSN program at UCF is in February and I'm so ready! I thought we could all come together here like I've seen others do in the past to share our stats and words of advice/encouragement.

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.71

Science Pre-req: 3.67

Non-Science Pre-req: 4.0

TEAS: 86.7

I feel like my stats aren't particularly competitive for the traditional program so I'll also be applying to Valencia-UCF's concurrent program next May.

Anyone else a little too excited the the next few months to fly by? What are your stats? Are you currently a UCF student or transfer? Are you applying to any other programs?

Damn this year seems to be really competitive :/ I got waitlisted too...another waiting game.

Specializes in Psychiatry.

Congratulations to those of you that got accepted!!

I'm one of the people that applied to both the traditional and the 2nd degree program. I was accepted to the 2nd degree (and will be attending in May!) and waitlisted for the traditional. I am assuming that I am not the only person who applied for both programs and was waiting to see the results of both...

SO, to those of you still waiting, don't lose hope because at least a few seats will be dropping off the wait list after Friday (31st) because those of us starting in Summer get removed from all other applications that were still active. Wishing everyone the best! I'm terrified going into the accelerated program, but thankful to have gotten in! It's a super competitive year. Over 240 apps for the 2nd degree program alone, so the traditional is probably way more.

Congrats Lanntis & best of luck to you!(:

To those who got accepted, what day is the deadline to accept the invitation into the program?

April 3rd was the deadline to accept the invitation

If anyone on the wait-list gets accepted post and let us know~ c:

I wonder how long it will take them to pick people off the waitlist.

I wonder how long it will take them to pick people off the waitlist.

People in the accelerated program that got waitlisted got an email about a week after the deadline to accept the waitlist/invitation. So let's hope we'll hear from them as well by next week

Has anyone heard back?
