  1. Hello, I was accepted in 2017 with these stats. You can infer whatever you'd like about the selection process. They have hundreds of applications every semester and take highly qualified candidates. Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 Overall (HCC GPA): 3.7 Cumulative (University +/- GPA): 3.625 TEAS: 88%
  2. Yea, I've gotten proficiency on all of the different topics that I've tested so far. I'm not sure if the scores I've been getting, because the later questions are really REALLY difficult, is indicative of the success I'm trying to get.
  3. Did anyone else get the Fundamentals Success book? I've found it to be extraordinarily helpful with rationals. Also in the first week I've done probably 500 questions on adaptive quizzing (trying to get proficiency on all of my topics) but some of those questions (SATA questions esp.) are SUPER DIFFICULT. I usually bank out with 70%-75%? I dunno I just really want an A. -_-
  4. Proud of you~ c:
  5. I believe I used the new forms for the physical / immunization form. As for the CPR, it's from the AHA and Verified says it is not. I sent an email to Ms. Llerena and will attempt to contact Verified themselves to get that fixed. Thanks for the info~
  6. I submitted both my physical/immunization form and CPR and they were both rejected from Verified Credentials. I'm trying to get in contact with Ms. Baker but I can't seem to reach her at either her email or phone number to get this fixed. Anyone have any idea who I should contact instead?
  7. Dark hair, blue button-down with aviator sunglasses tucked in my shirt. We were all moving pretty quickly along so we didn't have that much time for socializing anyway. But that's okay. And yea, I have DM afternoons and will be attending clinicals at Florida Hospital in Carrollwood. Not sure who else is going to be there. Seems like the majority of the people I talked to had either mornings / evening classes. Was happy to see a lot of other dudes there. Hit me up here or PM if you have afternoons. Looking for a study group.
  8. So, here's what's hilarious about the situation I'm in. I've been waiting all summer just praying I would get that acceptance email. It's taken so long, and now that I have it, it almost seems unreal. But I also got accepted into HCC's Nursing program and I've even payed into their program a little bit to get started. It was hysterical because today I had my orientation and the afternoon that I'm leaving to go home, I got that email. So, I'm super happy I was chosen. I'm considering going into the program, but it might be a more expensive option for me. Also, HCC revamped their Nursing program schedule so that I could do a Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall semester and graduate within 1.5 yrs. Then I would automatically be eligible to enroll at USF to get my BSN. I also think I would want to get experience in chemistry, organic chem so I might be able to make it into an anesthesia program someday. Anyway, I'm debating this over and over again in my head. I'm not sure what I should do, but I'm so happy to have gotten the email. There's a lot of other students who have worked incredibly hard to gain a spot on the wait-list and maybe I should pass the buck to someone who would appreciate the opportunity. I'll sleep on it for now.
  9. Oh my ******* God, I got accepted from the waitlist xox
  10. Yes please. That would be great c:
  11. Looking forward to seeing the lot of you at the orientation. I'm excited for it. I make might a laminated badge with my allnurses username and picture. I'd be cool to see everyone from here I just don't have a Facebook for the group
  12. I'll be at Dale Mabry HCC in the afternoons.
  13. Just dropped off my acceptance confirmation this morning, and it was marked as received in 'my documents' this afternoon. In case anyone is mailing their items in again, you can check there to confirm.
  14. Yup. So the order is to turn in those three first, then we complete the background check before our orientation or we cannot attend. After orientation, we can register for courses. Finally, we'll need our up-to-date CPR cards sent in along with the immunizations and physical exam results. I do wonder when they administer the drug tests. I'm sure it will have to occur prior to clinicals.
  15. Crud, maybe you're right and I should wait until Monday. I'll try to call tomorrow if I decide to go.
