Hi guys,
I hope I'm not the only one already obsessing over my application for the Fall 2017 semester! I have finals this week and then I'm finally finished with the nursing pre-reqs and I'll have my AA after just two courses in the spring. The application window for the traditional BSN program at UCF is in February and I'm so ready! I thought we could all come together here like I've seen others do in the past to share our stats and words of advice/encouragement.
Here are my stats:
Overall GPA: 3.71
Science Pre-req: 3.67
Non-Science Pre-req: 4.0
TEAS: 86.7
I feel like my stats aren't particularly competitive for the traditional program so I'll also be applying to Valencia-UCF's concurrent program next May.
Anyone else a little too excited the the next few months to fly by? What are your stats? Are you currently a UCF student or transfer? Are you applying to any other programs?

I like these scores because of the larger variation between the applicants. Shows that there is a good amount of wiggle room between the ranges of accepted scores. So if you have a lower score in one thing and not the other, you shouldn't worry too much. I really liked tharper's score. It is very similar to my own. The majority of these applicants had much higher TEAS scores than average.
This is off topic from GPAs but I was looking at the courses and I think they may be accepting 128 students this year (or almost every class just has that capacity). But for the GPAs I wish someone who was accepted had a TEAS as low as mine because it makes me anxious as hell see these old stats. Hopefully we will hear something this week but most likely next week! :)
Did a little bit more snooping and found the admission statistics from the 2014 cohort.
Had to use the internet archive to find this too! The admissions percentages from 2014 were roughly 27.5% that year and rose to 30% during the 2015 admissions cycle. Additionally, the ranges for the cumulative, science, and other GPAs were quite significantly smaller than the 2015 year.
One thing that I found very surprising was that there were ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN people who weren't eligible for the Nursing program at UCF during 2014. If one hundred and twenty people were chosen out of the eligible three-hundred and twenty-four, roughly 37% of those eligible were chosen. So if we consider the admission statistics from 2015 and take out around one hundred applicants who may or may not be eligible, that would be 126 / ~320 ~= 39.38 percent.
I hope future students on Allnurses will view these statistics to get a better idea of what they're up against when applying!~
Makenzib, wow awesome TEAS score. I am the same way, hoping my TEAS helps make up for my less than perfect GPA. I am very nervous that it won't be enough. Alexand[er] thanks for compiling all of those statistics! Really helps put things into perspective. Though, I can't say they make me feel any less worried about having a lower GPA than most :/

See now I feel even more worried because I don't have a high GPA in science but I feel my other GPAs are decent but then again my TEAS is low compared to a lot of you so I feel this can go either way at this point.
