Hi guys,
I hope I'm not the only one already obsessing over my application for the Fall 2017 semester! I have finals this week and then I'm finally finished with the nursing pre-reqs and I'll have my AA after just two courses in the spring. The application window for the traditional BSN program at UCF is in February and I'm so ready! I thought we could all come together here like I've seen others do in the past to share our stats and words of advice/encouragement.
Here are my stats:
Overall GPA: 3.71
Science Pre-req: 3.67
Non-Science Pre-req: 4.0
TEAS: 86.7
I feel like my stats aren't particularly competitive for the traditional program so I'll also be applying to Valencia-UCF's concurrent program next May.
Anyone else a little too excited the the next few months to fly by? What are your stats? Are you currently a UCF student or transfer? Are you applying to any other programs?
Hey everyone. I just finished getting my background check and fingerprints completed. Now I'm just waiting for the final eligible status for the program!
My stats are as follows:
Overall GPA: 3.62
Science Pre-requisites: 4.0
Other Pre-requisites: 4.0
TEAS score: 88%
I think I have a good chance at the program aside from my overall GPA. Sometimes life throws obstacles in our way and sometimes you change your major and get hit by a car all in the same semester. I look forward to hearing the results, and I hope you all succeed in your endeavors!
Please start that immediately! The background check takes roughly 3-5 to complete and you need to schedule your fingerprinting. You should be able to schedule your fingerprinting during this week.
Go here: Background Check | UCF College of Nursing and click in state or out of state and that will help you get started. The cost will be roughly $80 but they'll start your background check immediately. You can also complete the steps from castlebranch once you're registered to complete your fingerprinting.
ufshi17: you'll have to submit your order for a background check *there's a gray 'place order' button at the top right hand corner of the website* and you'll have to have the code ready that's specific for the UCF CON so you get the right background check. I believe it costs $80 or so. Get this done as soon as possible, because if I remember correctly it can take a few days.
Hey guys,
I'm also applying to UCF's traditional program as a transfer from UF. I applied last year and wasn't accepted so I'm trying again with some better stats this time.
Overall: 3.7
Science pre-req: 3.58
other pre-req: 3.67
TEAS: 92
I'm so nervous to hear back because my GPA is a bit lower than I would like, but hopefully the TEAS score helps me out. Good luck to everyone!
