Hi guys,
I hope I'm not the only one already obsessing over my application for the Fall 2017 semester! I have finals this week and then I'm finally finished with the nursing pre-reqs and I'll have my AA after just two courses in the spring. The application window for the traditional BSN program at UCF is in February and I'm so ready! I thought we could all come together here like I've seen others do in the past to share our stats and words of advice/encouragement.
Here are my stats:
Overall GPA: 3.71
Science Pre-req: 3.67
Non-Science Pre-req: 4.0
TEAS: 86.7
I feel like my stats aren't particularly competitive for the traditional program so I'll also be applying to Valencia-UCF's concurrent program next May.
Anyone else a little too excited the the next few months to fly by? What are your stats? Are you currently a UCF student or transfer? Are you applying to any other programs?
My prerequisites have been finalized as of yesterday. Glad to see that full green bar and check mark next to my status. Give them roughly a week and they should be finished.
@Judyjia1 nice TEAS score and science pre-requisite GPA. I think that'll definitely sway some opinions in your favor~
You're stats look great, PedsisMe!
Honestly, I'm pretty worried about my chances when I compare my stats to everyones on this thread. I'm anxious to hear of a decision but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I want to be in this program sooooo bad though!
When do you guys think we'll hear back?
Thanks! I'm trying to stay positive too but similar to you when I see others post I feel discouraged about my stats. I try to remember that they take around 120 people (that's a lot compared to some schools) and then when I compare my states to last years admitted students I feel positive again because I'm in the ranges. So just keep your head up and just know one day we will be nurses and look back at this day and feel so proud of ourselves and what we've accomplished!
Also, we should hear a decision in about 2 weeks (hopefully). They said 6-8 weeks from the deadline is the typical wait time.
Nice stats, PedsIsMe! I am very nervous too when I look at everyone's stats on this thread. I am biting my nails waiting for these decisions to be sent. Last year, I believe people were even receiving emails on the 22nd, which is next week already. Hopefully, we are lucky enough to hear something by then.
I did a little bit of snooping around and pulled some of the stats from last years applicants on that same thread and am compiling them here:

Lots of people in that thread previously who you might imagine were a shoe in for the program. A couple of others who didn't respond after the date the acceptance letters came out. However, the acceptance of worker686's statistics are very exciting for me to hear because I have a lower cumulative but have the 4.0's in everything else and an even higher TEAS score at the 88. Make of this information what you will.

Hello, I am applying for ucf traditional BSN.
Overall GPA: 3.6
TEAS: 88
Science pre: 4.0

I really hope i can get into the nursing program. But my GPA is kind of low. Now for my application, I have all green, but my prerequisite is still pending. I am a bit worry about that.
Good luck everybody.
