UCF 2017 Accelerated Nursing Program

Hello,

My name is Yuan and I am applying for UCF 2017 Accelerated Nursing Program. I noticed that there was a thread every year on this forum for applicants to share their status and progress after application. So this is what this thread is for.

As for me, I have

Teas: 85.3% ( I might take it again at the beginning of January)

Overall GPA :3.56 ( it's not great:( )

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0

Yes! Last year they found out on march 8th so I'm hoping we find out around then

I imagine it will be e-mailed and available on the admission status portal. Under the status descriptions, "Admitted" status will be sent an e-mail to our knights e-mail account with details.

Hey I was anxious about hearing if I got in or not and found this thread.

Interestingly, I did not get any invite to an open house.. how were you all notified of this?

My stats were:

undergrad GPA 3.2

TEAS 94 Science

GPA 4.0

Nonscience GPA 3.75.

Feeling like it's not a good sign at all that I was not informed of the open house lol.

Anyone received a letter in the mail yet on acceptance?

They will email us on acceptance.

Did they email you about the open house a month ago? I didn't receive any email, but would think they'd inform me then if I didn't make it past the first round instead of waiting...

Edit: I did get the email! It was sent to my spam folder for some reason. Shame because I would have loved to take the tour.. Hopefully attendance to the open house doesn't effect acceptances in any way. Good luck to you all!

Droot, no worries. While the Open House was AWESOME, they made it VERY clear that it would have no impact on admission decisions. I saw many people only putting their first name on the nametags too (if you were extra concerned about it).

Hi everyone! Hopefully the wait won't be too long before we hear about acceptance. I'm getting anxious now that it is March. Did anyone else apply for the scholarship? I interviewed today and was wondering if that might be a hint that I was accepted, or if the two processes were completely independent...

Which scholarship did you interview for? The one they send out to us in the email? [h=1]Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship[/h]Did they send you the invite to interview in the email? I unfortunately did not hear anything on the scholarship. Sad to know as I was really hoping to get at least half of the tuition paid for. Congrats to you though!!

Did anyone tried to speak to financial aid? I already been accepted to UF, and I would love to know if UCF will provide any financial assistance. Since we all have a Bachelor's degree already, we won't be eligible for the grants, right (if we used it during first Bachelor's)?
