UC Davis Nurse Residency 2017

For those applying to the UCDMC Feb/April 2017 cohorts, did you receive a personality test following completion of your application?

I don't know for sure how they choose candidates. I do know others that were hired and they precepted on those units or units similar. However, I do know of one person who precepted in peds and was hired onto the trauma nursing unit.

I would love to work in pediatrics but I really want to work for UCD in general, so hopefully they don't throw my name out because they don't have any peds slots!

I just called the recruiter for UC Davis, he said that the units have not finished calling for interviews, and that many times they don't call for the April cohorts until Feb/March, so don't give up hope yet!

Yes I precepted in the NICU! They did not say if it was for Feb but I am hoping it is! And yes they are still calling!! Stay hopeful everyone (: she said it will be a panel interview of 6-8 interviewers.

Has anyone heard any more news about other interviews being offered? I'm interested in adult critical care, but haven't heard anything. :\

Is it possible to apply to uc Davis while pursuing BSN but have rn license?

I've been told managers have until Jan 4th to call for interviews.
