Hi I live in irvine. Just took my proctored today and got 80%, which is a level 2. Never read the book just did nutrition practice proctored A and B twice: first time I got 63%, read the answer and wrote rationale, second time I got 90 on both (may have memorized some of the answers). When are you retaking it?

Had potter and Perry for fundamentals. My class got lucky because our exams are take home. In regards to answering questions. I used review and rationales fundamentals then answered questions from the cd. Never opened the book. Then reviewing ATI fundamentals for proctor I used review and rationales pathophysiology in addition to NRSNG academy. Answered a lot of questions and never opened my book. Used review and rationales for mental health. Struggled a little and just did tons of questions for each topic. Never opened any mental health book (Townsend or ATI mental health) My ATI mental health proctor was level 2. Answer a lot of question and read the explanation why the answer is right or wrong. Don't focus on getting high scores. Focus on correcting yourself for making mistakes. I've probably have done 5k questions and I'm only in 2nd semester out of 4. If it helps, get the saunders nclex. This should help you throughout the program

True it is the worst advice but think bout it. How many people have cheated and never reported because they're getting answers from others and drama

Just passed my first two nursing classes with awesome scores. I study alone and haven't found study groups that I would want to stick with. I did not have any medical background experience and noticed that when I studied with my LVN classmates they tend to mention a lot of stories and medications that I've never heard before. That type of studying is not helping me much. Sometimes, my classmates would mention things that I haven't studied or didn't think would be important (i.e. how many alcoholics are there in America?) which I would find myself dumbfounded. The nursing staffs at my school encourages study group. I might join a study group later and like what posts here says "If it isn't broke don't fix it." If your scores are great stick to your study habit. I like to study alone because I can be on my own pace and can practice how to be self-sufficient. You're doing great!

We are all in this together. Sharing information to others is not as bad as what you think. What if you happened to be the person who will take the exam later and others told you about the exam content and some answers? Would you be ok because it is something beneficial to you? Nursing is a group effort and we should all be helping each other. Yes i see your point that you worked so hard to do well and others just get it easy and get a higher grade than you. Does it matter if they get a higher grade? Isn't an A is an A? You get the material and that's great! You now have better understanding when problem arises. Should you report it? Cheating needs a proof. So if you want to report have a proof. If not, do not despise them. Just join them and make connections so you can also get some information that can be clarified.

Is it possible to apply to uc Davis while pursuing BSN but have rn license?

Hello everyone, I have been reading a lot of great reviews from all nurses regarding uworld for nclex. I want to know if it is beneficial to have uworld during nursing school. I am currently on my 1st semester and currently taking fundamentals and pathophysiology. i am currently using review and rationales and fundamentals success. I love how review and rationales for pathophysiology and fundamentals have the important things I need to know and skipped all the fluffs from my book. As for fundamentals success, I purchased this book to practice how to do well in answering nursing questions. I love how fundamentals success displays explanation on right and wrong answers; however, some of the rationales are very vague. My school uses ATI for exams and I dislike how it contradicts some of the information written on my professor's PowerPoint. I am not a big fan of ATI and still struggling on answering nclex style questions. again, let me know if any of you would recommend uworld during nursing school til I take the nclex (a 15mos from now)
