The application filing just opened less than hour ago and they will accept the first 500 applications for review.

I thought I would start up a new thread so we can all share in the application process.

Also, anyone have any tips from prior cohorts with regards to the application process?

Is anyone else having problems with the Oracle interface? It keeps freezing up and making me start completely over and it doesn't look like you can save your work as you go.

Specifically, it jams up when I try to enter my school.

I had problems with a different application before... did you try a different browser if possible? Sometimes that clears it up. I am sure the system is overloaded and that isn't helping... Good luck!

Got through it. The look-up function would bug the system out. Typing the first letter and letting the drop-down menu come up worked.

Now I can't verify whether my résumé uploaded or not. Hrmph.

I can't get past add to job basket and I tried multiple browsers. I wish they had it go up during normal business hours. I'm afraid if I wait it'll be filled but I'm not getting anywhere

I had the same problem. Use the latest version of Internet Explorer. I couldn't get past that screen with Chrome or Firefox.

Me too! It doesn't show what you uploaded. I decided that if it let me advance to the next screen with the upload option highlighted (I uploaded my packet twice), then it must have saved it.

Just wondering if anyone was able to get confirmation that the app was processed by logging back into the oracle acct???

I went through the process like 5 times and completed the survey, but the email instructs you to double check your app was received....so frustrated right now

I did. They sent me 2 emails while I was taking the survey to say that I needed to take the survey, lol. Are you referring to those emails? Or can you just not log in?

Out of curiosity: How many hours did everyone have for clinical rotations?

I hadn't seen that asked before other than practicum so I assumed it was standardized.

I thought that was a little strange too. For that section, I only included the clinicals where I did direct patient care and excluded leadership and case management clinicals. Usually it was either 90 hours or 180 hours per clinical rotation.

I finally got through... took a few shots though because there it kept freezing up, kicked me off twice, and wouldn't let me input my certifiations except ACLS and RN licensure. I called to ask about saving the application and the man at recruitment said you have to do it all at once. He said just get through it quickly and make sure your resume attachment is very thorough.

I also had 90-180hours depending on the clinical rotation.

Fingers crossed! :D

Same here.

My school didn't do senior preceptorships, that's why I want a solid nurse residency so badly. I hope that doesn't hurt my chances. I'm also a UC alumnus, I wonder if that helps at all.

I didn't see any unit preference form in the application. I thought they were going to include that.
