  1. Hey everyone... just wondering if any cohort 4 folks have begun scheduling physicals yet? I haven't heard anything since my urine deposit a couple weeks ago :)
  2. Take heart, socal529, I just got a call with the good news maybe 15 min ago? :) It looks like they may be calling before emails....
  3. Yes, as far as I heard rejection emails were sent out Monday. Just got my email invite to return for another interview over an hour ago (its currently ~1030 PST). Good luck everyone!
  4. Hey guys! Of those of you who got interviews... how many are from the Bay/central CA vs. southern CA or out of state?
  5. I had problems with a different application before... did you try a different browser if possible? Sometimes that clears it up. I am sure the system is overloaded and that isn't helping... Good luck!
  6. I have not... have you?
  7. I figured a way around it later sometime yesterday... don't use Firefox and it should be a breeze!
  8. I called to inquire and there was a lengthy pre-recorded message which stated that only CVICU is still reviewing applications and will be calling people in for interviews "soon". It looks like all the other units are done calling folks in for interviews. Also, the recording mentioned that anyone who was not selected will receive acknowledgment of not being selected once the hiring decisions have been made. So for those of us still waiting on CVICU, keep those fingers crossed! :) To everyone else: 1) congrats on being chosen or 2) keep the faith and best of luck with getting a job somewhere else!!
  9. Hello fellow job seekers! The application window is now open for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH) at Stanford Versant RN Residency which begins on 9/16/13. Has anyone else submitted their application yet? Also, has anyone else had any trouble getting attachments to save like me? Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks and best of luck to us all :)
  10. I agree with you ladies, Nurse Danielle & ebeth... it's gotta be a weird glitch! Good luck to everyone with interviews and applications...whether our immediate future lies at CHLA or not, we will all find somewhere to shine! :) p.s. Elsey, I am in the same boat as you for CV Acute! Thank you so much SoCalRN858 for the update... I wish you the best of luck with your next interviews as well!!
  11. Thanks for sharing the news, mocan04 :) I am sure we all super appreciate it!! :)
  12. Hi ner214, the short answer is nope. CV Acute is the step-down unit...
  13. Hey everyone! Congrats to all who already know they're moving on to the next stage and to those of you who are still waiting to hear...keep the faith! :) I received a call this morning for CV Acute and will be pre-screening on May 2nd also. I was told 20 were selected to prescreen (on either 5/2 or 5/3) and that there are only "a couple spots" for the actual unit. I'm not sure if that means 2 for sure since another recruiter had told me something different over a month ago. Still, we'll never know until offers actually go out! The good thing is all those who pre-screen will be contacted for sure with either the + or - news about going on to the full interview stage--I can't remember if she said within 1-2 weeks after the CV Acute pre-screenings are over on 5/3. p.s. Anyone else getting a haircut? lol I haven't had one in about 5 years so I figured now is the time!! :)
