  1. Welcome to the group kdawsonRN! I'm a local Californian but there's a few here from out of town and state. Dee1267, I'm sure you will do wonderfully with the NCLEX :) Ocennia, I can't imagine being in that position :/ in a way I'd say go with what you have in front of you which is UNC, especially with how difficult it is for us new grads, but at the same time it sounds like you have a lot here in LA. Perhaps you can accept the offer and wait and see if you hear from CHLA? Or maybe it would be good to work there for a year or so and come back and know that you'll be able to get a job. It's definitely a tough choice, but just look at all the pros and cons, weigh them out and see what you like.
  2. How exciting! All the best with the interview, and let us know how it goes. Hope everyone is having a great start of the week :)
  3. Darlene Wetton was her name, and she is on the Temecula Website.
  4. I was also told they would be calling in about 2 weeks and were hiring 40. I think I scored 10 on the sheet but I also heard of people getting 12 but didn't hear anything above that. I arrived at around 1230 and got an interview with the CEO, she was very friendly. She asked me what school I attended, which is West Coast University, and she said that was the school she has done more interviews for, but I'm not sure it was one of the ones they asked about when they stopped interviews. Good luck to you all!
  5. Hey! Congratulations on the last midterm! It's great to hear you are all doing well :) I'm keeping busy and always having an eye on my phone. Those long awaited calls should be coming soon!
  6. Awww, I feel the same! Ever since school and boards ended, I found my first 3 white hairs!
