UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Fall 2021

Hello,

Applications are open for the fall start of the Nurse Residency at UC Davis. I wanted to start the forum to discuss what unit(s) applicants are interested in, where are you from, etc. I submitted my application already and if anyone has any questions regarding the process, I'd be happy to help.

My status changed today too. Fingers crossed that its a good sign! (I did not specify a unit of preference on my cover letter)

I didn’t specify a department, I’m sure over this next weeks everyone’s will eventually change!

I got a routed update as well. I checked the status yesterday so the change definitely happened sometime today. Fingers crossed for next steps!

Hi everyone, my application also changed to "routed for further consideration". Does this mean units are considering whether they want to schedule an interview? Does anyone know if we will be either contacted or will the application status change to "denied" or something if they don't call us for an interview after this?

My status hasn’t changed and I’m starting to feel discouraged? If it doesn’t change, does this mean we aren’t being considered for an interview?

I’m equally panicking but staying optimistic! It depends on department needs and some departments may take longer. Which did you say you preferred? In the last cohort it was staggered too ??
 

I don’t believe you’re contacted if you’re no longer being considered. Then again I’m going off of hearsay so I could be wrong ?

My status changed to "routed for further consideration" but I didn't specify a department either

Mine was routed as well. It just means it was passed to the unit managers for further review.
