UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Fall 2021

Hello,

Applications are open for the fall start of the Nurse Residency at UC Davis. I wanted to start the forum to discuss what unit(s) applicants are interested in, where are you from, etc. I submitted my application already and if anyone has any questions regarding the process, I'd be happy to help.

Does anyone know the timeline?  When interview invitation will be sending out?

Last year they called for interviews in late May early June... but who knows if that will change with how COVID has changed since then!

Mine also says under review. I was reading the Spring cohort's thread for last year and looks like there won't be much status changes until July.

I thought they were doing interviews end of June but I cannot find where I saw that

I just saw this...thanks for starting this, Amanda. It’s a great way to see where we stand compared to other applicants.  I didn’t specify where I wanted to work.  Just like many of you, I’ll take anything just to get my foot in the door.

I hope we receive some emails soon. I don't really know how this process has gone in the past and my status update is remaining unchanged. If anyone hears anything, please let us know.

 

Is there anyone still in a program? I am graduating in the beginning of August and hopping to be licensed by October which may be pushing it. However, still wanted to give this application round a go because maybe timing will be on my side and hopefully roll me into my first job!
