Hi everyone!
I'm starting this new thread for those interested in applying to UC Davis's Master's Entry Program Summer 2021 program. Hoping this will be a space where we all can ask questions/connect.
Hope you are all staying healthy!

Hey dc_rene!
Are you planning to reach out to the faculty or just look them up online and go based on that
im going to look them up online and do a big search on them!

I'm using my nursingCAS statement. I got mine down to 4,000 characters but my next step is to tailor it to add in the faculty part. Hopefully a sentence or two will suffice but then I'll have to take out more stuff to make it fit again.

I submitted my application on 11/23 but didn't get a confirmation email until like the next day for the grad application.
HI ALL,
I received this email after submitting my 2nd graduate application
"Thank you for submitting your application for admission to the M.S.N. in Nursing (Master's Entry Program in Nursing) at the University of California, Davis!
Remember, your application cannot be sent to the committee for review until we've received all of your materials, including your letters of recommendation, required test scores, and academic transcripts.
Visit your application status page to access your account and ensure all requirements have been met, and remember that uploads can take up to 72 hours to process. Make sure you upload required documents as soon as possible to avoid delaying the completion of your application.
Once your application has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email. "
Question:
1) did anyone have to re-request LOR? I didn't have a section on my application for that, but did submit an original one on NursingCas
2) There was a section for "Required Test Scores" such as foreign student TOELF (sp?) scores, but I'm NOT an international student. Did anyone else get this section on their application?
-I know the GRE was waived for this program so I'm a little confused.
TIA!

Hi @Lbee, I didn't apply for the secondary application this time but I have applied last year so I can answer your questions:
1) You don't need to re-request LOR since graduate studies already have those from your NursingCAS app.
2) The TOEFL issue also happened to me when I applied last year. I had emailed them and they said it was because I didn't select "B.S. /B.A. degree" on the dropdown menu of the Academic Section, so they assumed I was an international student. They send a waiver on my behalf which took a while to get approved, but according to them, this issue does not affect decisions!
Good luck ?

I got that email too but I remembered in the instruction page they sent us, they told us to ignore any emails that ask us to submit any LOR and transcripts.
Today, I got another email:
"It's official - you've completed your application for admission to the Nursing (Master's Entry Program in Nursing) program at UC Davis!
Your application and materials have now been sent to the admission committee for review. Please note that the Nursing (Master's Entry Program in Nursing) program may request further information about components of your application.
Remember to review all program requirements and deadlines to ensure all program-specific materials have been submitted. Please email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME),
I logged into to check and it looks like they had transferred my NursingCAS stuff over to my application.
1. I'm sure you're fine if you got invited to the second round of apps.
2. You can ignore this if you're not an intl student, I left everything on this page blank when I did my apps.
Just be on the lookout for the confirmation email soon?

Hey, I was just wondering but did you receive this after reviewing and completing the NursingCas Academic Update (AU)?

It's crazy cause I believe that 2 years MSN USF is ~90K, 2 years ELMSN at SMU is ~120K and 3 years MEPN+NP at UCSF is 120K. So Davis seems to be waay more expensive considering it's an 18 month program.
