  1. Hi ViolinD, I have an upcoming interview with UCDMC ORTP. Curious if you can recall what they ask? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi TDJRN, I have an upcoming interview for UCDMC ORTP. Do you recall what they may ask? Any tips or advice? Thanks in advance
  3. Hi All, Sorry for jumping on this late. I got accepted into the program and will accept my spot since Davis is the closest to home. Stats: Academic- 3.6 undergrad GPA for Health Science, concentration in Administration Professional Experience - for the past 10 years I've been a family member caregiver, surgical tech, health administration, CNA, and phlebotomist. Related Volunteer- transporter at my local hospital, and within my community (food bank, homeless shelters, etc). For those that are waitlisted don't be discouraged. This is my 2nd attempt applying after being waitlisted last year. When I first started school, I did not have any guidance as a 1st generation college student. I literally had a 2.0 for my prerequisites and believed that passing with all C's was enough. I really did not think about applying to Nursing till the pandemic really gave light to what my true passion was, to pursue higher education and become a Nurse. For those that are applying, don't give up. Sending good vibes your way ❤️ P.S. for those accepted, would you like to start a group? (facebook, Discord, etc.). Also if anyone has info on routes/ options to pay for graduate school. Please send it my way! Thank you all
  4. Congrats to all those that got accepted off the waitlisted! Still waiting to hear some good news for myself to be accepted off the WL *fingers crossed ? @Calista looks like they have changed the application date this year. If I recalled corrected it was May to August? According to their website: Applications open each year by mid-August and close at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time) Nov. 1. https://health.ucdavis.edu/nursing/admissions/programs/MSN.html Hope this helps! I'll probably be reapplying, if I don't hear back from the WL. Thank you for bringing this up to my attention, so I can change my timeline accordingly!
  5. @nursecap This was from their "FAQ-How do I reapply". Seems like they're strict, as they want new materials. https://www.usfca.edu/nursing/programs/graduate/masters/MSN/faqs "In order to re‐apply, simply go to the online application and fill out a new application. We are not able to provide individual feedback on your application, however we recommend that you submit an updated resume, statement and different letters of recommendation to strengthen your application. Please note that you will need to resubmit all application materials, as we are unable to keep any previous application materials on file."
  6. @nursecap "Do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions, or should you wish to cancel your Spring 2021 application. Please note that should you wish to apply for another term, you will need to cancel your current application." Looks like you need to email or call them. [email protected] (415) 422-4124 Hope this helps!
  7. Hi All, CONGRATS TO ALL THAT GOT ACCEPTED!! I found this group after getting a notification that I was waitlisted for the OC campus. Looking back on this thread, there are 9 (including myself) people waitlisted for the OC cohort. Checking the FB group, looks like 15 people are accepted. https://www.facebook.com/groups/384597552627014/ Does anyone recall how many spots they take? I believe 20? Contemplating if I want to drop my WL spot and apply for the next term. Its unfortunate that they won't tell us our ranking ?
  8. Hi @nursecap, she just responded with : “ Thank you for your email. Thank you. We will make a note of your ID in your application.”
  9. @Peru ? looks like I'll be emailing (PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS). Slipped my mind too. I'll let you know if she responds! Thank you for mentioning this. You're a life saver! ❤️
  10. @d_c13 and @Peru That's strange. I actually did not have a section on my 2ndary application asking for my NursingCas ID. Was this from the first application? Don't freak out, things will work out! *sending positive vibes to everyone. Thanks for clarifying!
  11. Hi heeyjay, Personally I would reach out to them if it does get close to the deadline. I did submit my application on the due date 12/1 and the process was quick (12/3). Hope this helps!
  12. Hi Te751, Yes, when I login to check. My status for my transcripts say " *green check mark, received" mine was dated 12/03/2020 with the note "All application checklist items have been received and your application can now be reviewed by the admissions committee. Each program has its own timeline for application review and decision and typically, decisions are released any time between early January and late May. Please follow up with the graduate program directly if you have specific questions about their timelines."
  13. Is it this email? If so I received it on 12/7. I'm honestly not too sure what it is too. When I log back into NursingCas my application for Davis is no longer there.
  14. Great! Thank you, I'll be on a look out!
  15. HI ALL, I received this email after submitting my 2nd graduate application "Thank you for submitting your application for admission to the M.S.N. in Nursing (Master's Entry Program in Nursing) at the University of California, Davis! Remember, your application cannot be sent to the committee for review until we've received all of your materials, including your letters of recommendation, required test scores, and academic transcripts. Visit your application status page to access your account and ensure all requirements have been met, and remember that uploads can take up to 72 hours to process. Make sure you upload required documents as soon as possible to avoid delaying the completion of your application. Once your application has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email. " Question: 1) did anyone have to re-request LOR? I didn't have a section on my application for that, but did submit an original one on NursingCas 2) There was a section for "Required Test Scores" such as foreign student TOELF (sp?) scores, but I'm NOT an international student. Did anyone else get this section on their application? -I know the GRE was waived for this program so I'm a little confused. TIA!
