UC Davis MEPN 2020

Hello everyone!

I did not see a thread for UC Davis MEPN 2020 start so I thought I would start this since applications open up next week ? has anyone written a personal statement? I can't find any specific guidelines for what to include

I got this too. I think it’s just saying that it’s closed and to assume we didn’t get in, since we were supposed to hear by the 30th ?

@zfeld I didn’t get that email but I’m assuming I will shortly. I know we’re supposed to get a letter from UC Davis if we’re not accepted I was just wondering if they’ll send us that soon or if they wait to see if anybody spots open within the next week or so. Doesn’t look promising though ?

Oh my gosh!! guys I didn’t get an email?!! Should we expect them throughout the orientation days?

I don't think you should worry about that email because you probably received it right after submitting your application to Graduate Studies if you didn't have any missing documents. In my case after I submitted my application, the checklist stated that I was missing the TOEFL scores because I forgot to add my B.S. degree on one of the drop-down menu of the application, so they assumed I was an international student. I contacted the nursing school and they said they sent a waiver on my behalf and that it might take a long time for them to get back to me.

So I finally received the same email. But I'm so confused if they are closing our applications shouldn't we have received a rejection instead?

Did you get an answer back from Davis regarding the waitlist?

Nothing from them yet. Long weekend? So hopefully after the weekend

I haven't yet. I'm still waiting. Guess I'll get something by the end of this day or this week.

Yes:( what was the reason for yours? Mine said my statement of purpose was not competitive. I really hate that they made us go through the first rounds and get accepted, then reject us months later. Wish they would have just told us from the beginning. Oh well! CONGRATS everyone who got in, and good luck to those who didn’t! Don’t give up ?

@hockeystic They said my personal statement wasn't competitive enough either. Wish we knew earlier too I've been waiting for months for good news. Did you apply anywhere else?
