Hiya folks!
It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.
Is anyone else already excited for next September?

I did want to share that I got waitlisted, AL-23. I am truly shocked that I was waitlisted, as I was extremely late to start my application and didn't feel I gave the supplemental section enough time. Overall I scored a 1 on the CASPer, a 2 on my admission rank, and a 3 on my supplemental.
Again, everyone should be so proud of themselves! Good luck to those higher on the waitlist! ❤️
Hey I'm on the waitlist too! Hang in there - hope we get in.
I'm a bit confused, I got A-31 on waitlist but I scored 1 on Casper and 2 on the rest so I thought I'd be closer to you in number! I guess this shows that the admissions process is reaaally confusing and to just try your best cause god knows how they do this ?. Good luck!!

I got 1 supplemental, 3 grades, and 2 casper but there's nothing about being waitlisted. I was rejected(?). Can't see anything about being waitlisted and my letter states "...regret to inform you that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion".
It really makes me think casper and grades are weighted most heavily. And there are slight advantages in applying ASAP? I submitted my supplementals Feb 28 (on the deadline).
Yeah, it says I am now on alternative list at #81. I submitted my supplemental on Feb 28 as well, I don’t think it matters because I ranked 1 in that

Hey! check the first paragraph of the email, it should say A- something if you got waitlisted.
Now I'm positive I was rejected. My email began with a generic "Dear UBC-Vancouver BSN Applicants". No A-something anywhere in the letter attached.
Thank-you for responding. And congrats on improving and almost obtaining your second choice degree! ☺️ After stalking all those forums, I would say #34 gives you a pretty good chance.

I read somewhere UBC Nursing gives preference towards domestic applicants? Could that be a reason?
I am Canadian, even though like many I am an immigrant with education from another country... I didn`t know it might be considered not being a domestic student...

From previous threads (not confirmed) plus it might be tougher bc there are way more applicants:
90%+ is a 1 for grades
83-89 is a 2
82 and less is a 3 etc etc.

Yeah, my score makes sense. 78% (B+/A-) with 3.
@JULIADO noted they scored a 4 with straight As.

I, sadly, got rejected. I got 4 for the grades, however I have my bachelors diploma with honours (which means I am a straight A student) from another country. I am confused, as I felt I should get a good score for grades. I got 2 for supplemental and 3 for Casper, but I guess there was no chance with this grades score. Very sad and disappointed.
May I ask for those who was wait listed, what are your scores for all three parts?
Thats weird... your average would be an 85% ish which would be much higher than 4.
Maybe they look at international grades differently?
Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!
I was rejected from the program but plan on applying for the next intake. I scored 2 for grades and my CASper but my supplemental application scored a 3. It saddens me because I believe I had put a lot of thought into my supplemental. If anyone has any advice on it or any volunteer/work experiences they’re specifically looking for, let me know! Thank you.
Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! ?
I got waitlisted for mid 30's, so there may be a chance I'll still get in. Does anyone know how long it could be until they stop offering seats to people on the waitlist? Is it only until the deadline for accepted students to make a decision about their offer (June 7th)? Or will they potentially be offering seats to waitlisted people up until August?

Hey guys!
Congrats to those than got in!
I was rejected last year too - #3 on Casper and grades but 1 in supplemental. I got into my second choice at UBC and I'm completing my degree this Summer.
This year I got #1 in casper and 2 in grades and supplemental..weird progress.
I'm on #34 on the waitlist.. weird place to be, don't know if I should take it as rejection or not.
But good luck to everyone in the waitlist and those that got rejected, sometimes its a blessing in disguise!
