Hiya folks!

It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.

Is anyone else already excited for next September?

Mine says "your application is currently being reviewed by the Faculty/School. This can take some time and we thank you for your patience. We will provide you with an update as soon as we can. You can continue to check the status of your application here on the Student Service Centre."

Same thing, I think it depends on when you submitted the supplemental.

I sent mine on January 5th and my application still does not say it's been received. I emailed UBC and this was their response

"There are delays in both receiving transcripts and processing them, but as long as you had ordered your transcript before our deadline, there is no need to worry."

So as long as the date you ordered the transcript on is before the deadline, there should be nothing to worry about! Hope this helps!!

My UBC status says im ready for an academic assessment. But it also mentions that the supplemental is still required... is that normal?

Yes, it takes a while for these things to get updated. It took mine a week.

are you indigenous too? I saw in the nursing information session on canvas there was supposed to be more information released about indigenous admissions but I haven’t seen anything ?

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone knows how often conditional offers are given out to students, I am in the process of completing my HAP requirements during the Summer but was anxiously curious to know if I might miss out on an offer just because I did not fulfill my HAP requirements before handing in my supplemental? Thanks!

All pre-requisites must be completed by May for the 2021 cohort as outlined on UBC's nursing website.

For students currently in the program, I was curious if any of the clinical placements/ preceptorship are paid? If you want to work as an ESN, would that be additionally to clinical placements?
