Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing. Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

I was rejected also, I know how you feel. Similar stats, volunteer experience, and I am employed in a leadership position in the health care field. How they make their decisions for admission is a mystery to me. My heart goes out to you! Congratulations to everyone who got in this time around!

Thank you so much! My heart goes out to you too. I wish you the best of luck with all the things you will be doing!

Hey!
For those who are wondering, the quartiles are meant to show you where you roughly rank in each category - to properly rank all applicants, your exact place matters as well. A "high" 2-2-2 would rank much higher than a "low" 2-2-2, since the first person may have gotten 74th percentile in all three sections while the second person may have gotten 51st percentile, for example ?. If they didn't do this, then there would be no way of differentiating between large chunks of applicants with the same quartiles on the same sections, and applicants could get very unlucky or lucky by barely making it into the neighbouring quartile, if that makes sense.
Good luck to everyone on the waitlist and to those who didn't make it on, remember that luck plays a big role and don't give up - you got this! ❤️

The upper cohort is excited to meet you and eagerly waiting to answer all your questions and point you to the right resources.
-We are also planning to organize a CPR-BLS and mask-fitting class that you can take together as a cohort so that its fast and subsidized.
Congratulations and welcome once again!
So incredibly excited to be accepted into this upcoming cohort!
Just out of curiosity, where would we be notified about the CPR-BLS and mask-fitting courses that you mentioned? Should we keep an eye out here?

I’m on the waitlist but going to complete all the requirements. I already have all the requirements. Where do I email my certificate and certification for mask fitting. Also how can I do the criminal record check?

I don’t think you can’t really do any of the post admission requirements until you’re officially accepted. Everything is submitted through canvas and you get a link to enroll in the BSN 2022 cohort with your acceptance letter

Okay, just a little confused because it states “To maintain your eligibility, you are required to complete all admission requirements and submit the final official
transcripts directly to UBC Undergraduate Admissions by June 7, 2022.”
