Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing.  Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

I'm so confused unless this is an automated email and they’ll cancel it.

I think if you signed up for virtual information/advising on Canvas, you will get this email. They send out this email every week to remind people of drop-in advising. I don't think it's something we need to worry about.

Ugh thank god. Because I didn’t receive this email either.

Probably be around 3-4pm because they mail merge the emails out and most UBC employees head out around 4 on Friday.

I'm so excited and nervous and just want to know either way. Did anyone get in anywhere else or is UBC your first and only choice? I got in a VCC and I will jump ship if UBC accepts me.

Nothing to worry about at all. Was more so implying that I was surprised they had this sent out when we’re all waiting to hear if we got accepted. We don’t need drop-in advising sessions anymore. ?  They probably just forgot to cancel the automated email.

I'm a current UBC nursing student and was just remembering this whole process and waiting game. I went through it twice (waitlisted the first time and accepted the second time). I wanted to wish you all good luck and remind you of how amazing you are regardless of your application status ?
Also, in 2020 my email came in at 16:24 and in 2021 it was at 15:25 for those of you who take comfort in knowing exact times from previous years.

Thank you for your post! I was wondering, did the email go to your personal affiliated (non UBC) email? As in the same one that received the automated Canvas emails?
