UBC 2022 Nursing

Published

Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing.  Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

I’m guessing they need more time evaluating since they added extra seats.

Yeah so maybe it will be another week, who knows ?

Do we think they will release results tomorrow? I feel like it’s usually at the end of the week? Obviously hoping for tomorrow but I don’t want to sit around all day refreshing my email again if it’s not gonna happen ??

I haven't gone back to check the previous years' dates of when people first started finding out - was it always on Fridays?  Or did it vary?

It wasn't always Fridays I think. All I know is that in 2019, results were given out on May 2nd (Thursday) and in 2021, they were out on Apr 30 (Friday). So I really hope that we get our results tmrw! Fingers crossed!

Anxiously grasping for a sense of control over this, I checked the previous years' pages and found this:
This is when people first started getting acceptances:

2018:  May 7th (Monday)

2019:  May 2nd (Thursday)

2020:  May 1st (Friday)

2021:  April 30th (Friday)

---  Math whizzes on here, what's the pattern!?  Tell us!!  Hahahha ?

Hi all, I applied in 2019 and it was May 2 (Thursday) and then in 2021 it was a Friday when people got accepted and denials went out the following week.

OMG…. They don’t send acceptances and rejections all at once??? That’s even more nerve wracking LOL

LOOOL I guess in 2019 they did acceptances/rejections at different times, BUT last year, my friend applied and they got their rejection on April 30 (aka, the same day as acceptances). So, hopefully, this year will be both at the same time as well!

Oh wow, the suspense is ridiculous! If anyone hears anything (good or good haha - praying we all hear good news) please post it on here.
Otherwise, have a blessed day everyone!

Yes, haha and I was waiting. My application was not very strong in previous years.

The suspense is killing me, I wish they would set a date.

This is from the UBC School of Nursing website: -says "late Spring" -- so could it be even going on into June??.... ?

That's so much later than the previous years! I wonder if it's because of the increase in seats or applicants...
