Hey!

Just wanted to start this for anyone looking to apply to the 2020 cycle for UBC accelerated nursing. Let's share what we'll be applying with and any other info :).

Hi Jennie. My average was 89.6%. I have a Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. I have around 1000 volunteer hours ranging from working on the downtown east side in Vancouver, a month in Africa at a dental clinic, various departments at UBC hospital, the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program and the BC Cancer agency. My first and last name are both in the last part of the alphabet. Good luck to you! Stay positive!

CONGRATS to everyone who got accepted! I was waitlisted and it says I’m number 1! So hopefully I get in off the waitlist! The letter says I ranked 2 for grades, 1 for supplemental, and 2 for Casper! IDK if any one is interested but my stats are: my GPA is 3.78/4.33 for my last 30 credits, I’ve volunteered at BC Children’s and Women’s hospitals, volunteered for UBC AMS Vice, I competitively danced for 19 years, and have always been interested in health sciences since I was little (which I talked about in my supplemental)!
hope I can join everyone in September! And again CONGRATS to everyone! ?

Unfortunately I've been waitlisted ? does UBC inform you if you got moved up on the waitlist? I'm also pretty far behind on the list so I doubt I'll get accepted

I'm also on the reserve list, quite far down. Got scored a 1 on my supplemental, 2 for CASPer and 3 for grades. Maybe next year will be my year.

I applied with a 3.58 in my last 30 credits and my last/first name is lower in the alphabet. I hope you get in!
