Hi Everyone!
I've been searching for a thread for applicants to UBC's BScN program for September 2017, but I haven't found one. Please feel free to point me in the direction of an existing thread, or add to this one! I'm applying to UBC, U of T, and UWO for September, but UBC is definitely my first choice. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!
:)
Anyone else have a feeling that we're not going to hear anything until Friday at 4 pm? Haha. My other two offers expire early next week, and I'd prefer to have more than two days to make such a huge decision.
I agree with to-be-nurse; you're going to be spending a ton of money on education in the next few years, the deposit to extend your decision time would be worth it.
Also, you have TWO other acceptances already?! I thought it was just U of T. You won't believe how unequivocally jealous I am of you!

@to-be-nurse $500 is a lot of money, but you're right. I need to buy some time!
@wonkknow I was also accepted to Western yesterday :)
I was really hoping today was the day! I really hope we don't have to wait until Friday at 5pm to find out or worse they send them out late. The constant checking emails is really hard and tiring.
Congrats to those accepted to other places. Hopefully we will hear back soon. Cant wait to figure the next part out :)
Hey Everyone,I haven't posted here yet but I just wanted to mention that my roommate's friend has already received a rejection notice for UBC Nursing. Maybe no news yet is good news?
when did your friend recieve this notice? I am sorry to hear that for your friend. just wondering if this was this week or months ago if she didnt meet criteria

That's a good idea! Even for those of us currently planning to live on-campus, this would be a good backup.
Thanks for the info lindsayn! You're totally right about not thinking 1000 steps ahead... I was just forced to think about it since I'm not from B.C. and had to apply for res early in the hopes of getting a place.
