UAB AMNP 2017

Hey everyone! I'm currently a student at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. I graduate this December and I'll be applying to UAB's AMNP program this Fall for the Spring 2017 class! I hope this group/thread can be used to help each other out through the application process. Also, to anyone currently in the AMNP program, please don't hesitate to drop in and share your application experience! :)

Hahah oh my word, I think I've read literally every other old post up until like 2009 haha! If you ever want to private message me on here, I could literally talk about this program all day.

@faith_and_favored Does Barry college have a direct entry msn program for non-RNs who have a bachelors degree in non nursing field? I checked their webpage but sadly cannot find anything saying they do. I'm trying to find more schools to apply to in the southeast in case UAB is a no.

I did! I went to one about a month ago. It was pretty helpful. :) But not at all necessary in my opinion.

I was told that this year "hundreds" applied, around 200 got an interview, and 70 were accepted...
