U of A MEPN 2022

Hello everyone. I am applying to the U of A MEPN program this fall for a May 2022 start. I'm super nervous and excited. Anyone else? I have not taken the HESI yet but will be doing so toward the end of Nov. Any advice?

Also for the fingerprint clearance does anyone know the process? I have to submit my fingerprints via mail and I’m wondering if they will send me the materials (form, blue envelope) or should I be able to find these from where I’m being fingerprinted. The hyperlink regarding this form doesn’t work on the document they provided

Yes I filled that out and paid for it. I’m just confused as to how I will be getting the materials to do the physical fingerprinting LOL. I don’t want to waste time waiting for them to send materials to me in the mail, especially if I am supposed to get those materials in my own. I am concerned it will be cutting it close to the deadline since we are 6 weeks out

I did mine via mail. They don’t supply a card unless you ask. Most places that do ink fingerprinting will have them for purchase or even require you to get them done using their cards. You can’t do your own fingerprints. I mailed mine off like 3 weeks ago and it has already come back approved.

I asked in the chat option on the DPS website and it (the virtual assistant) said, "The fingerprint card will be mailed via USPS to the mailing address on your application." ?‍♀️

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

I just got into the Tucson cohort!! Super excited! I would definitely love to put together a FB so we can all get acquainted before we start the program. I just put the group together on FB. You can search "2022 UA MS-MEPN Cohort" to find the group. Talk to you all soon!

I’m sad because I don’t have a Fb and haven’t had one for almost 10 years ? is there any other forms of communication or is it only thru fb

For those of you who have been accepted this cohort, were you given a date when you have to accept or decline the offer by? I was waitlisted, so I'm trying to get an idea of when spots may open up by.
