U of A MEPN 2022

Published

Hello everyone. I am applying to the U of A MEPN program this fall for a May 2022 start. I'm super nervous and excited. Anyone else? I have not taken the HESI yet but will be doing so toward the end of Nov. Any advice?

For those of you who have been accepted this cohort, were you given a date when you have to accept or decline the offer by? I was waitlisted, so I'm trying to get an idea of when spots may open up by.

Yesterday was the date we were supposed to have responded by. It was kind of like a Google form though, so not signing anything. Our official graduate school acceptance should come March 9th though and I imagine some things may change then.

Sounds good. Thank you so much! :)

Deadline was 3/3

Does anyone know if I will need a car during the program? I’m trying to figure out if the public transportation will be enough to get to and from school and/or clinicals

Are you in Tucson or Phoenix? Both cities are pretty spread out and depending on the days/times/locations of the clinicals, it may be challenging to rely completely on public transportation.

Also waitlisted, can you ask an advisor where you are on the list?

Hi, have you heard anything by chance? We should stay connected in the event one of us hears back about the waitlist!

Nope. I'm honestly not expecting to be taken off it tbh, I feel like my interview was abominable. But we should stay in touch, just in case.

I’m in Phoenix. I have a car currently but I was wondering if I could manage without one in order to save money by not having a car payment or insurance bill each month. Seems like I’ll just have to keep my car and figure it out through loans. Thank you for the insight!

Phoenix is quite spread out but I would suggest reaching out to an advisor and asking what clinical sites are common for students to attend. They may not be as far apart as you may think.

Also keep in mind that we'll be starting at the downtown campus for the Summer but moving to the Gilbert campus in the fall.

Anyone from the FB group that knows whether or not people who have joined are from the wait-list? Just wondering if they've begun to give people spots from the alternate list

Hello all! Has anyone received a zoom invite for the compliance orientation today? I have been going through my emails and cannot seem to find where they may have sent it.
