I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
hey! i ordered my books from half.com.. i think ima end up buying them all there esp. for the first sem. its all too cheap ahah i love it! this is probably the cheapest thing we will ever see in nursing school lol
yah i'm actually looking for some right now. i'm lookig through craiglist but i don't know if the website is reliable. i found one not on craiglist for 875 for 2 bedrooms. pics look really nice but i haven't clled the people who posted it. It says its minutes to med center
hey quick questions ladies. & gents. i know this is the whole accepted thread..but out of curiosity because my friend had a relatively close gpa to 3.7 and applied to the houston campus, anywho.. do any of you know the cut off for the houston campus...

and thats not bad for the apts.. i saw soo many good ones on craiglist.. and i saved the link, but dont know to how far you can trust the people on theere...
on holly hall there are soo many apts.. i just ran into my friend and she just signed a lease for may at parque del oro or somethin like that on holly hall and its about 8 somethin for two bedroom and i heard its reallllllllllly safe.. lol i dont think we will be able to find a place for all 6 of us to stay together.. lol it might be two to an apt..
