TWU Houston Fall 2009

Published

I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.

I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.

I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!

(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)

Hopefully everyone who needs housing will be able to get it. I have to get a booster shot tomorrow then no more shots :)

Thanks for the help! That really isn't a bad price for right by the medical center and it looks like a pretty good environment as well :) Man, I am so nervous/excited about starting nursing school...does anyone know if TWU Houston has a stimulation lab..apparently I don't know that much about the school LOL..

Trueblondy2006 welcome to our thread!!! I'm looking forward to meeting u on the 8th. I believe they do. The dallas campus does so I'm assuming our will too escially if its a new center.

I bet it is. How does the lab look??

hey trulyblondie! i'm looking for apartments and roommates to share the cost as well. I was looking through the prices of some of the apartments and saw that for alot of them if you share it with 2 or 3 people, the price would be like about 4-500/month. That's pretty much were my budget is. so who wants to share an apartment with me? lol...

I found a couple of 3 bedroom apartments for 1480 its @ the archstone apartments. Parque del Oro apartments sound like their nice also...and its not too bad if you share the cost.

For all those who's looking for apartments do you guys wanna set up a time were we can meet and go apartment hunting...maybe may 8 after the session since everyone will be there anyways?

oh and i finally passed by twu and its surrounding with my parents. Wow i love were TWU is located! lol

Yeah, meeting up after the session on May 8th would be great! I'm so excited to meet everyone!!

I'm glad to hear they have a stim lab! Some of the places I applied to either didn't have one or had a crappy one.

Also, does any one have an idea of the average tuition rate here?

sign me up! I will join the tour as well! :)

Please refer to this Trueblondy26. This is the closest to fall 2009 i can find.
