I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
if we buy the assessment from the bookstore does it come with the manual as one package? cause i cant find the manual online, i only found the health assessment in nursing

I'm kinda happy i've taken this EMT class because although nursing is entirely different all we do is head to toe assessments. I know nursing is goign to be a different kind of assessment but i'm glad i've gotten comfortable touching patients and stuff like that.
Hey littlerae26, thank you so much for answering my question. I guess I can book my air tickets now! It is very kind and nice of you to answer all our questions. Many of us are so nervous and concern about our school. I'm sure you will make a great nurse...i can already tell just by looking how caring you are! :)
For everyone else, I'm so glad that we gonna be meeting each other soon! I told my boss that I'm gonna officially quit on May 15th! God, that was a great feeling. You guys know how much i hated my current job. I almost considered writing a book which teaches people how to get of their minds of killing themselves at work. The title of the book shall be called:" Don't Do IT! You still need to pick up that Paycheck on Friday!" LOL
